CARES at the 2023 RTR Conference

CARES representatives participated in the Conference on Results from Road Transport Research (RTR Conference), held February 14-16 in Brussels, Belgium. Over 300 conference attendees gathered for an overview of the findings and developments of Horizon 2020 projects involving road transport.
Åke Sjödin presented on the panel, “Air quality: From technology to user involvement.” In his presentation, Sjödin reviewed the primary objectives of the CARES project and highlighted key achievements of the project. These include improved accuracy of remote emissions sensing measurements of particulate matter, improved detection of high-emitting vehicles, and support of local air quality improvement plans.
